The [mom_mom.html] vignette details why .mom is the native MomX class and why it can just be seen as a textual representation of the <mom> tibble that lives in your console.

This vignette is dedicated to importing foreign files. It provides examples of all supported file formats, then show how to write a custom importer.

Currently supported formats are : (todo and possibly recycle from elsewhere)

Custom exporters: towards a pandoc for morphometrics

Until I have completed other MomX organs, I will not not have time to write exporters. I’m not even sure we need that much importers but if there is a need and you cannot manage yourself, I will be happy to help.

Ideally, yes, Momit could be used as a pandoc for morphometric like:

pan(from, to)
Happy message: 184k tps files were imported successfully.

With from/to being, ideally, whatever beast exist in the misty forests of morphometrics. Or worse: in the jungle of what people use to ride the morphometrics pipe.
